“The Shack”

Cover of the book "The Shack" by Wm. Paul Young, The #1 New York Times Bestseller

I love to read.  And so, I read a fair amount.  In fact, I have to ration myself so that I can get other things done.

Today, I finished reading the lovliest story I have ever read.  Let me repeat that.  I finished reading the  loveliest story I have ever read.  I thought my heart would burst from my chest.  Really.

“The Shack.”  How can I tell you about this story without revealing too much.  . .without being a spoiler?  How?

Let’s see.  It is the story of a meeting with God.  No, that won’t do because you will be limited to your perception of God.  And this is so. . .expanding. . .so much more.

Ill try again.  It is the story of a man, a man in great pain. . .a great loss. . .who has ceased to live although he lives. . .and how . . .   Oh no, there’s that same problem.  My words lead you to think you already know.  But perhaps I’m wrong.  Perhaps you do know.  Do you?

Maybe the best I can do is share the sub-title:  Where Tragedy Confronts Eternity.  And maybe, on that alone, you will choose to just let the author tell the story.

If you have read it too, please chime in!

If not, I so want to share this experience with you. . .all of my friends. . .everyone I care about. . .and you, with whom I am not even acquainted.

It is the #1 New York Times Bestseller!

The Shack.  By Wm Paul Young.

If you can’t find it locally [I picked it up at WalMart], then look it up on: https://www.windblownmedia.com/

Of course, I will love to hear from those of you who choose to read it.  I hope you will either comment on my blog. . .or post on Facebook. . .or contact me.  I know I will be reading it again.  Perhaps we can read it together and share.
